Security ReceptionistSan Mateo, CA 94403OverviewSalary Range $26.00 - $26.00 Hourly Position Type Part TimeDescriptionAbout the role:The Receptionist will work alongside a well-selected team of professionals in a fast-paced environment. Duties include but are not limited to answering phones, ensuring phone calls are properly directed, greeting guests in a professional, friendly, and hospitable manner. In addition, you will be responsible for coordinating overnight mail shipments and assisting with various administrative duties.

The successful applicant will have direct day-to-day contact with our clients; therefore, will need outstanding communication skills, a great attitude, and the ability to leave a consistent positive impression with each and every interaction.In this role, your responsibilities will be:Answer telephones and direct callers to the appropriate extension or provide requested informationAct as first point of contact for in-person visitorsHandle incoming and outgoing mail, including packages via express mail servicesOrder, receive, stock, and distribute office suppliesOrder, receive, stock, and maintain kitchen areas including snacks, beverages, and paper goodsAssist with other related clerical duties such as photocopying, faxing, and filingPerform other related duties as requiredQualificationsAs a candidate you must have:High school diploma or equivalentThree plus years experience in a business environment, including high volume switchboardProficient in both PC and iOS systems and related softwareMust be a dependable team player with business maturity and enthusiasm with the ability to deliver high level of customer serviceHave flexibility to work any shifts on any day of the week (Mon-Sun) and willingness to assist the team with overtime when neededWe offer:Health, Dental, Vision, and 401k for eligible employeesPaid Time Off including Sick/Safe TimeA dynamic and challenging work environment with opportunity for growthSecurity Industry Specialists, Inc. is an Equal Opportunity Employer
