As a Security Officer Transportation Patrol in Denver, CO, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As an unarmed Patrol Officer supporting a public transit location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and assist passengers, employees, and visitors with professionalism and clear communication. Thur 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM

Fri 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM

Sat 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM

Sun 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to transit passengers, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, service disruptions, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel and/or public agencies as directed.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of transit facilities, platforms, passenger waiting areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations; working environments and conditions may vary by location.
• Observe and report suspicious activity, hazards, unattended property, and policy violations to appropriate personnel, helping to deter unauthorized access and disruptive conduct.
• Document incidents, patrol activities, and observations accurately in accordance with Allied Universal and location-specific reporting procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• Pepper Spray Certification is preferred.
• Handcuffing Certification is preferred.
• A state, county, or city-issued security license is preferred.
• CPR/First Aid Certification is preferred.
• The ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
