Security Officer Full Time Armed

As a Security Officer Full Time Armed Patrol Hazard Prevention in New Orleans, LA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. As an Armed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol commercial real estate locations, maintaining a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. You will respond to situations with professionalism, communicate clearly with tenants and visitors, and provide exceptional customer service. Pay Rate: $16.00 / Hour

• Mon: 10:00 AM - 07:00 PM
• Tue: 10:00 AM - 07:00 PM
• Wed: 10:00 AM - 07:00 PM
• Thur: 10:00 AM - 07:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and/or authorized personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at commercial real estate locations.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established procedures and notifying appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of buildings, parking areas, access points, and surrounding perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access to the property, verify credentials as required, and maintain awareness of visitor, vendor, and delivery activity in accordance with site policies.
• Document patrols, incidents, observations, and/or unusual activity accurately and promptly, and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess an armed guard card or license.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
