Job Description

As a Security Officer Full Time Commercial Office Building in Santa Ana, CA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. As an Unarmed Security Officer at a commercial real estate location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support access control activities. You will provide exceptional customer service and clear communication while representing Allied Universal’s agile, reliable, innovative, caring, and integrity-driven culture through teamwork.

What You’ll Do:

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, vendors, and/or clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities at a commercial real estate location.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of building common areas, parking areas, entry points, and the surrounding perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify potential security-related concerns.
• Monitor access to the property, verify visitor and contractor authorization as directed by site procedures, and report irregularities to appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner; document observations and complete required incident reports.
• Maintain a professional presence while communicating clearly with property management, tenants, and first responders as needed.

Minimum Requirements:

• Experience with alarm panels is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
• Experience with access control and badge systems is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
