Duties
Responsible for conducting both internal and external patrols of the hospital, parking lots/garages, and grounds.
Execute access control when required by verifying personally identifiable information and authorizations.
Ensure incident scenes are preserved for law enforcement investigators and provides written reports of findings based on criminal incidents to the supervisor.
Prepare written reports on all incidents and investigations as required and must be willing to use case documents and/or testify during judicial proceedings as a witness or security professional.
Act as first responder for all emergency situations, including infant abduction, kidnappings, and violent criminal violations in progress.
Inspects possessions of those entering or leaving areas and identifies and confiscates contraband when discovered at higher security posture levels.
