Your expertise as an LCSW or LMFT will empower you to provide counseling, crisis intervention, and mental health consultation to a diverse student body. This full-time role follows a school-day schedule of 8:15 AM to 3:45 PM (with a 30-minute unpaid lunch) and offers stability throughout the school year, from August 12, 2026, through June 3, 2027.
Desired Qualifications:
- Active California LMFT or LCSW licensure
- Experience as a Social Worker or Marriage and Family Therapist in school settings
- Strong background supporting adolescents with emotional and behavioral needs
- Ability to manage a caseload of 28-30 students with compassion and organization
- Excellent communication and documentation skills
- Collaborative mindset for working with educators, parents, and external partners
- Deliver individual and group counseling to high school students
- Conduct mental health assessments and develop action plans
- Collaborate with teachers and administrators to address student needs
- Crisis intervention and support for students in immediate need
- Maintain thorough, confidential case documentation
- Assist in developing and implementing schoolwide mental health programs
