SAP S/4HANA FICO Consultant, Sunnyvale, CA (IK)

We are seeking an experienced SAP S/4HANA FICO Consultant for a full-time onsite engagement at a leading technology company in Sunnyvale, CA. This role blends deep SAP Finance & Controlling expertise with a focus on AI-enabled finance transformation — including hands-on AI agent development within the SAP ecosystem.

SAP FICO RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Configure and deploy S/4HANA FICO: GL, AP, AR, AA, CCA, PCA, Internal Orders
  • Universal Journal (ACDOCA), document splitting, parallel ledger setup
  • Support finance close, intercompany reconciliation, period-end processes
  • Manage FICO integration with MM (GR/IR), SD (billing/revenue), PP (order settlement)
  • Contribute to brownfield conversions or greenfield S/4HANA implementations.

AI & AUTOMATION RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Build AI agents to automate FICO processes — invoice processing, anomaly detection, period-close automation.
  • Leverage SAP Joule, Joule Studio, BTP AI Core, and AI Launchpad
  • Integrate LLM APIs (OpenAI, Azure OAI, Claude) with S/4HANA FICO data
  • Use agent frameworks (LangChain, AutoGen, CrewAI) on enterprise finance workflows
  • Connect AI agents to SAP via Python, REST APIs, or OData services.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • 6+ years SAP FICO; minimum 3 years on S/4HANA
  • New GL / Universal Journal, document splitting, parallel accounting
  • Strong CO depth: CCA, PCA, IO, CO-PA, and/or CO-PC
  • 2+ full-lifecycle S/4HANA FICO implementations or ECC- to-S/4HANA conversions
  • FICO integration with MM, SD, and/or PP
  • US work authorization — no sponsorship available
  • Available for full-time onsite work in Sunnyvale, CA.

AI SKILLS — STRONGLY PREFERRED

  • Hands-on AI agent development: LangChain, AutoGen, CrewAI, or equivalent
  • SAP AI capabilities: Joule, SAP AI Core, AI Launchpad, SAP Build
  • Prompt engineering, RAG patterns, tool-use for structured SAP data
  • Python / REST / OData for SAP-AI integration.

PREFERRED

  • SAP S/4HANA Finance certification (C_S4FI_2023 or current equiv.)
  • SAP Fiori finance apps and embedded analytics
  • SAP BTP services: Integration Suite, Build, Data & Analytics
  • High-tech / semiconductor industry background
  • Agile / SAFe delivery experience.
