Sales Associate

Position Summary

The Sales Associate is responsible for delivering exceptional customer service, building lasting client relationships, and supporting the boutique sales goals' achievement. This role serves as a brand ambassador by providing a personalized shopping experience, maintaining product knowledge, and contributing to the overall success of the boutique.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Customer Experience & Sales

• Provide exceptional customer service and create a welcoming shopping environment.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships through personalized service and follow-up.
• Identify customer needs and recommend products that enhance the client experience.
• Achieve individual sales goals and contribute to overall boutique performance.
• Resolve customer inquiries and concerns professionally and in a timely manner.
• Support client outreach and relationship-building initiatives to encourage repeat business.

Product Knowledge & Clienteling

• Develop and maintain comprehensive knowledge of products, collections, and services.
• Communicate product features, benefits, and brand stories effectively to customers.
• Maintain a good knowlegde on new product launches, promotions, and boutique events.
• Leverage clienteling tools and practices to build lasting customer relationships and drive sales.

Boutique Operations

• Accurately process sales transactions, returns, exchanges, and other point-of-sale activities.
• Assist with receiving, replenishing, and organizing merchandise.
• Support inventory control efforts by following established operational procedures.
• Participate in opening and closing responsibilities as assigned.
• Maintain an organized sales floor, fitting rooms, and stockroom.

Merchandising & Brand Standards

• Ensure merchandise is consistently presented according to company standards.
• Assist with visual merchandising updates and promotional displays.
• Monitor product presentation and report inventory or merchandising concerns.
• Maintain a professional appearance and represent the brand positively at all times.

Teamwork & Collaboration

• Work collaboratively with management and team members to achieve business objectives.
• Participate in training programs, team meetings, and development opportunities.
• Support a positive, inclusive, and customer-focused work environment.
• Assist colleagues as needed to ensure a seamless customer experience.

Compliance & Safety

• Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and security requirements.
• Support loss prevention initiatives and safeguard company assets.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and professional work environment for customers and employees.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of retail sales or customer service experience preferred.
• Strong customer service and relationship-building skills.
• Excellent verbal and interpersonal communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced retail environment.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
• Basic proficiency with point-of-sale and retail systems.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods during scheduled shifts.
• Ability to lift and move up to 20 pounds.
• Ability to bend, reach, and perform retail sales activities throughout the workday.
• Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Compensation

• Base Salary : 55 000$ - 60 000$
• Commission: 4%
