What You'll Do:

• Provide specialized respiratory care in adult critical care settings, including airway management, ventilator support, and oxygen therapy
• Manage patient interventions such as intubation, extubation, suctioning, and pulmonary hygiene
• Administer inhaled medications and manage aerosol setup, tracheostomy care, and ECMO procedures
• Interpret arterial blood gases (ABGs) and assist with complex ventilator management including troubleshooting alarms and weaning
• Support patients with ARDS, aspiration, COVID, pneumonia, and other critical respiratory conditions
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes

What You Need:

• Active ACLS, BLS, PALS certifications, and MN State Licensure as an RRT
• Minimum 2 years of recent RRT experience with 1 year specializing in ECMO; first-timers accepted with at least 1-year ECMO experience
• Strong airway management, medication administration, ventilator troubleshooting, and arterial puncture skills
• Ability to work night shifts, float as needed, and comply with scheduled block days (no more than 5 days RTO preferred)
• Willingness to work at a facility more than 100 miles from your residence

About the Assignment:
This position is based at a reputable short-term acute care hospital with Magnet designation, a Level III trauma center, and 672 staffed beds. You will be part of a highly skilled critical care team delivering advanced respiratory and neuro diagnostic services to adult patients. The facility utilizes Excellian/Epic charting and offers parking at a flat rate of $.55/hour.
