RN - Nursing Supervisor - Full Time Nights

As the most acute level of care in Kindred's continuum, our transitional care hospitals offer the same critical care patients receive in a traditional hospital or intensive care unit , but for an extended recovery period. Our Registered Nurses play a vital role in the recovery process for chronic, critically ill and medically complex patients.

Nursing Supervisor / RN responsibilities:

1. Oversee the hospital staff to ensure quality care and compliance with policies and mandated regulations.
2. Provide professional guidance for nursing personnel, manage disciplinary issues, prepare administrative reports, review staffing and budgetary needs, and integrate Nursing Services functions with other hospital departments.
3. Participate in program development and training for nurse-recruitment activities and assist with continuing education programs.
4. Hire, train, supervise and evaluate designated nursing staff; assign duties and coordinate nursing services.
5. Participate in developing nursing protocol and procedures.
6. Provide continuing education and staff development opportunities for nursing staff.
7. Assess patient needs; participate in providing nursing care; ensure services are carried out and documented appropriately.
8. Maintain patient health care records.
9. Maintain supply inventory records; order supplies and equipment as necessary.
10. Promote adherence to the Company's Code of Business Conduct and the Corporate Compliance Agreement by monitoring employee performance and identifying and responding to compliance issues.

$52.73 to $76.91 hourly.

$15k Sign on bonus.

Qualifications

As a Nursing Supervisor / RN you will have:

1. Appropriate degree from an accredited school of nursing.
2. Additional state requirements as applicable.
3. Valid Registered Nurse / RN license in the state.
4. BCLS and ACLS certification.
5. Two years of Registered Nurse / RN nursing experience in a hospital.
6. One to two years supervisory/leadership experience.
