Job Summary
Provides autonomous and collaborative patient care, managing health issues across diverse settings as a clinician, researcher, consultant, and advocate for individuals and communities. Performs comprehensive assessments, diagnoses, and treatment plans within the nurse practitioner's scope.
Responsibilities
- Develops and implements care plans using written protocols to ensure quality care.
- Utilizes prescriptive authority, procedures, referrals, and treatments in compliance with laws and regulations.
- Enhances nursing practice quality and effectiveness.
- Contributes to professional development of peers and colleagues.
- Provides clinical leadership and supports lifelong learning.
- Completes assigned goals and duties as directed.
Qualifications & Skills
- Minimum of 1 year clinical experience as a nurse practitioner in primary care.
- Master’s or Doctoral degree in nursing.
- Computer literacy.
- Current nurse practitioner certification and eligible for prescription privileges.
- RN licensure required.
