RNFAM - Memphis, TN 38120OverviewSalary Range $30.00 - $35.10 Hourly Position Type Full-TimeDescriptionFertility Associates of Memphis is seeking a compassionate and detail-oriented, full time Registered Nurse (RN) to provide high-quality patient care within a reproductive medicine setting. This role utilizes the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care in alignment with state nursing board scope of practice and the clinic's service philosophy.The RN will coordinate and manage clinical activities related to infertility evaluation and treatment, working closely with physicians to support patient care throughout diagnostic testing, treatment cycles, procedures, and early pregnancy monitoring.ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:Deliver patient care aligned with the clinic's service excellence standards, demonstrating professionalism toward patients, families, staff, and physiciansReview and maintain accuracy of patient medical records in the electronic medical record (EMR) systemUtilize the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care activitiesSupport physicians during patient exams and procedures, including preparation of supplies and instrumentsPerform phlebotomy, injections, and other clinical tasks as directedCoordinate infertility diagnostic testing and treatment plans per physician directionCommunicate with patients regarding treatment cycles, calendars, medications, and test resultsProvide emotional support and education to patients throughout their fertility journeyFollow up with patients after ultrasound scans and clinical proceduresPerform or assist with procedures as applicable (e.g., IUI, follicular ultrasounds, IV insertion, injections including SQ/IM, RhoGAM, Methotrexate administration)Enter clinical documentation, physician orders, and patient interactions accurately into EMREnsure medication ordering and prior authorizations are completed appropriatelyTrack and verify completion of consents, lab work, and communicable disease testingEducate patients on fertility treatments including IVF, FET, egg vitrification, and related protocolsMonitor early pregnancies through approximately 10 weeks gestation with appropriate documentation and follow-upEnsure required medical clearances are obtained and documented prior to treatment initiationParticipate in on-call coverage as assignedAssist with disability paperwork and other patient documentation needsParticipate in quality improvement initiatives and process enhancementsPerform other duties as assignedKNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:Strong interpersonal and communication skills with patients, physicians, and multidisciplinary teamsExcellent organizational skills with ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt to interruptionsStrong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate clinical documentationProficiency in basic computer applications (email, Word, spreadsheets) and ability to learn EMR systemsAbility to work independently and collaboratively within a team environmentDemonstrated professionalism, confidentiality, and adherence to clinical protocolsCommitment to patient-centered care and service excellenceMINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:High School Diploma requiredGraduate of an accredited nursing programCurrent Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice, without restrictionsCurrent BLS certificationContinuing education requirements maintained per state licensing guidelinesDESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred2+ years of experience in women's health, fertility, OB/GYN, or reproductive endocrinology3+ years of overall nursing experience preferredWORKING CONDITIONS:May require working under stressful conditions and irregular hoursExposure to communicable diseases and bodily fluidsRequires flexibility based on patient volume and clinical needsMust demonstrate patience, compassion, and professionalism in patient interactionsModerate noise level in clinical environmentPHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:Ability to communicate clearly in person and by phoneFrequent standing, walking, bending, reaching, and repetitive hand movementsOccasional heavy lifting, pushing, and pullingAbility to perform all essential clinical duties in a fast-paced outpatient settingIvy Fertility is an equal opportunity employer.
