Job Title: RN Nurse Manager – Long Term Care (Mount St. Vincent)
We are currently seeking an experienced LTC/Geriatric nurse with a background in a skilled nursing facility. Your knowledge, experience, and wisdom will help us maintain exemplary resident care. As an RN Nurse Manager you will be part of our leadership team at The Mount, working for a nonprofit organization that prioritizes adequate staffing and exemplary patient care – not just the bottom line.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the management of residents/patients and all staff assigned to your unit(s) with 24‑hour accountability.
- Mentor, teach, and follow up with staff to validate that care processes are being followed.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and policies; serve as the point of contact for care quality and safety matters.
- Manage staffing plans, shift scheduling, and workflow within the unit.
- Participate in performance evaluations and professional development for nursing staff.
Required Qualifications
- Education sufficient for licensure as a registered nurse.
- Active Washington registered nurse license upon hire.
- National Provider BLS – American Heart Association certification within 30 days of hire.
- At least 5 years of experience in a nursing leadership/management role.
- Minimum 2 years in a long‑term care setting, including end‑of‑life care.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in nursing from an accredited program.
