We are hiring experienced Registered Nurses (RNs) – Labor & Delivery for a leading healthcare organization in Seattle, Washington .

Position Highlights

• Location: Seattle, WA


• Position: Registered Nurse – Labor & Delivery


• Schedule: Full-Time, 36 hours/week


• Shift: Night Shift


• Shift Length: 12 hours


• Hiring Bonus: $15,000 for eligible external candidates who meet applicable requirements


• Openings: 20

Responsibilities

• Assess patients and develop, implement, and evaluate individualized plans of care.


• Monitor, document, and communicate patient conditions appropriately.


• Advocate for patients and families while supporting ethical, holistic, and patient-centered care.


• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and interdisciplinary healthcare teams.


• Promote patient safety, quality outcomes, and evidence-based nursing practices.


• Educate patients, families, students, and healthcare team members.


• Coordinate care and appropriately delegate responsibilities within the care team.


• Maintain required competencies and participate in ongoing professional development.

Required Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.


• Current Washington RN License upon hire.


• BLS – American Heart Association certification upon hire.


• NRP – American Academy of Pediatrics certification upon hire.


• Minimum 1 year of Labor & Delivery RN experience .


• Clinical rotations, student experience, and residency programs do not count toward the required L&D experience.

Preferred

• National certification in Labor & Delivery or the applicable specialty.

Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate will have at least one full year of hands-on Labor & Delivery RN experience and be comfortable working 12-hour night shifts in a fast-paced clinical environment.
