Job Description:
Join a busy high-risk Labor and Delivery unit in Seattle, WA, for a rewarding 26-week travel contract as a Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse. This role involves working 12-hour day shifts, every other weekend and holidays as needed, supporting a volume of 500-600 deliveries per month. You will function as a Baby Nurse during deliveries and continue post-partum care of the newborn, including assessments, eye and thigh injections, and assisting with procedures like magnesium sulfate administration. The environment is fast-paced with a high acuity, requiring experience in high-risk deliveries and electronic fetal monitoring. Float to Sister facilities covering post-partum and antepartum units may be required, offering a diverse set of experiences in maternal-child health. If you thrive in high-energy settings and have at least one year of high-risk obstetric experience, this assignment offers a blend of professional challenge and personal growth.
