Shift: 3 x 12 Rotating (shift times vary)
Start / End: Mon 9/14/26 - 1/9/27
Duration: 17 Weeks
Highlights

• Years Experience: 2 years of cardiac RNFA experience
• RNFA must be able to assist with chest exposure and closing as well as independently perform vein harvesting for CABGs
• It is preferred but not required to first assist in DaVinci robotic cases
• It is also preferred but not required be able to scrub and circulate complex cardiac cases which may include CABGs, structural heart cases (i.e. Bentall), minimally invasive procedures (i.e. Mini Aortic Valve Replacement), and heart failure cases (i.e. Impella)
• Heart transplants are also performed here and experience in heart transplant is preferred
• AHA BLS and ACLS
• NYS RN license
• CNOR certification
• Telemetry
• RN License (NY License ONLY): Required
• BLS Certification (American Heart Association ONLY): Required
• ACLS Certification (American Heart Association ONLY): Required
• CNOR Certification: Required
• Telemetry: Required
• 36 or 48hr/wk, primarily weekdays 7a-7p and 11a-11p with on call responsibilities per unit need
