Position Summary
This role provides direct clinical patient care. The role will assume responsibility for assessing, planning, implementing direct clinical care to assigned patients on a per shift basis, and unit level. The role is responsible for supervision of staff to whom appropriate care is delegated. The role is accountable to support the CNO to ensure high quality, safe, and appropriate nursing care, competency of clinical staff, and resource management related to patient care.
Responsibilities
- Active and current registered nurse license in the state of residence/practice.
- Effective interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to serve as role model and advocate for the professional discipline of nursing.
Education
- Required: Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing
- Preferred: Bachelor or Master degree in Nursing
Certification
- Required: Must be currently licensed, certified or registered to practice as required by law, regulation in the state of practice or policy. CPR
