RN ED Regional Float Pool Nights

The role involves providing direct, high-level nursing care in a fast-paced emergency department environment, including trauma and level 1 trauma designation care, utilizing evidence-based practices and a multidisciplinary team approach.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program or equivalent if less than 3 years' experience
• Current RN licensure and at least 6 months of nursing experience
• Certifications including BLS, PALS, NIHSS, TNCC or ATCN, ACLS, Trauma Nurse Core Course, and NIH Stroke Scale within specified timeframes

Responsibilities

• Deliver top-of-scope patient care using the nursing process
• Prioritize patient safety and quality care
• Precept and mentor new staff and promote evidence-based practices
• Contribute to positive patient outcomes in a dynamic clinical setting
