Rheumatology Physician

Presbyterian Medical Group is seeking a Board Eligible/Board Certified Rheumatologist to join their established practice in Albuquerque, New Mexico. This full-time position offers a nationally competitive salary, relocation allowance, and fully paid malpractice insurance. Responsibilities

• Makes all professional medical judgments in the care of patients seen
• Manages the physician/patient relationship
• Participates in systemwide health management initiatives
• Provides input into the practice site's financial, clinical, and service quality performance; budget; capital plan; and personnel issues
• Assists in the development and implementation of clinical and service standards
• Receives and resolves patient complaints
• Participates in the recruitment and replacement of other providers
• Consults with and advises other providers regarding optimal and cost effective treatment of patients with rheumatologic disorders

Compensation

• Nationally competitive salary with relocation allowance available

Shift & Schedule

• Full time
• FTE: 1.00
• Monday-Friday with 36 hours of direct patient care and 4 hours of administrative time
• Call is in rotation with the group

Requirements

• M.D/DO.
• Board eligible or certified in Rheumatology
• NM License Required
