Rheumatologist
Community Health is seeking a Board Certified/Board Eligible Rheumatologist to join its growing specialty practice. This is an outstanding opportunity to build a thriving outpatient rheumatology practice while working collaboratively with Primary Care providers and specialists. Practice Info
- Primarily outpatient practice with inpatient consultation support as needed
- Treat a broad spectrum of rheumatologic and autoimmune conditions including Rheumatoid Arthritis, Lupus, Gout, Vasculitis, Osteoporosis, and Connective tissue disorders
- Collaborative multidisciplinary care model
- Established referral network from Primary Care providers
- Comprehensive outpatient Rheumatology practice
- Office-based procedures including Joint aspirations and Joint injections
Responsibilities
- Diagnose and manage rheumatologic, autoimmune, inflammatory, and musculoskeletal disorders
- Perform comprehensive evaluations and physical examinations
- Develop individualized treatment plans
- Prescribe and monitor DMARDs, biologics, corticosteroids, and other advanced therapies
- Perform office-based rheumatologic procedures
- Interpret laboratory studies, imaging, and bone health assessments
- Educate patients regarding disease management and long-term treatment strategies
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary providers to coordinate comprehensive patient care

Requirements
- MD or DO
- Completion of an ACGME-accredited Internal Medicine Residency
- Completion of an accredited Rheumatology Fellowship
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Internal Medicine
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Rheumatology
- Eligible for medical licensure in Vermont
- DEA registration (or eligibility)
- Experience with musculoskeletal ultrasound, osteoporosis management, and office-based procedures is preferred but not required
