Houston Methodist is seeking a BC/BE Rheumatologist to join its Houston Methodist Specialty Physician Group, located on the campus of Houston Methodist in the Texas Medical Center. • Physicians maintain autonomy with respect to clinical practice while growing their practice within an academic environment
• Provide inpatient rheumatology consultations on a rotation with 5 other rheumatologists

Responsibilities

• Provide unparalleled patient care with excellent skills in diagnosing and treating various musculoskeletal conditions as well as autoimmune and inflammatory conditions
• Work well in a team and collaborate with other healthcare professionals
• Actively involved in teaching fellows, residents and medical students
• Provide inpatient rheumatology consultations on a rotation with 5 other rheumatologists

Requirements

• Must be Board Certified or Board Eligible in Rheumatology
• Ability to obtain a Texas medical license or have a Texas medical license in good standing
• Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
