ABOUT THE ROLE A rare number two leadership role has become available at a Forbes and Michelin Key ultra-luxury resort in Florida. Reporting directly to the Managing Director, this role oversees day-to-day operations and the guest experience at one of the most exclusive and intimate resorts in the United States.

WHAT YOU'LL DO Serve as the operational second-in-command, supporting the Managing Director in the overall leadership of the property Take full ownership of the guest experience, ensuring every touchpoint reflects the resort's ultra-luxury standards Oversee day-to-day resort operations across all departments with a strong focus on rooms and guest services Lead, develop, and inspire the leadership team, fostering a culture of excellence, warmth, and accountability Manage the unique logistical and operational complexities of an island environment Build and maintain personalized relationships with guests, driving repeat visits and loyalty Support financial performance, cost management, and operational reporting to the Managing Director

WHAT YOU BRING Proven senior leadership experience at a luxury boutique or remote resort property, ideally as a Resort Manager, Hotel Manager, or strong number two A strong rooms background is essential for this role Experience in Caribbean, island, or remote destination hospitality is a significant advantage Deep understanding of Forbes 5-Star, or equivalent ultra-luxury standards Exceptional guest-facing skills with the ability to deliver highly personalized, instinctive service Comfortable navigating the operational complexities of a remote, boat-access-only environment Valid US work authorization required
