Please state your availability and graduation date clearly in your resume.Responsibilities:Improve the reliability and performance of large-scale training systems across pre-training, fine-tuning, evaluation, and inferenceBuild observability, profiling, and debugging tools for distributed ML workloadsIdentify and optimize performance bottlenecks across GPU, networking, and storage layersContribute to distributed training frameworks in multi-GPU and multi-node environmentsCollaborate with model and infrastructure teams to improve system scalability and efficiencySupport incident analysis and operational stabilityQualificationsMinimum Qualifications:Individuals who are completing or have recently completed a PhD degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Electrical and Computer Engineering, Physics, Mathematics, or a related discipline.Strong programming skills in C++ and PythonSolid understanding of PyTorch training workflows and distributed runtime behaviorFamiliarity with CUDA execution, NCCL communication, and GPU systems fundamentalsPreferred Qualifications:Experience with performance profiling and debugging tools (e.g., torch.profiler, Nsight)Familiarity with distributed training or parallelization strategies (e.g., FSDP, Megatron-LM)Ability to analyze and optimize performance in complex ML training systemsCompensation and BenefitsThe base salary range for this position in the selected city is $ - $ annually.
Compensation may vary outside of this range depending on a number of factors, including a candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies and experience, and location. Base pay is one part of the total package that is provided to compensate and recognize employees for their work, and this role may be eligible for additional discretionary bonuses/incentives, and restricted stock units.
