Help Cougs 4 Kids connect Washington State University students, alumni, volunteers, and supporters with opportunities that benefit underserved youth and young people.
We are seeking a volunteer Student and Campus Liaison Director to lead remote relationship-building with student organizations, academic programs, service groups, campus leaders, alumni, and prospective volunteers.
Responsibilities:
- Develop a student and campus outreach plan for Cougs 4 Kids
- Build relationships with WSU student organizations, departments, service offices, and campus partners
- Recruit and orient student volunteers, ambassadors, mentors, and project contributors
- Coordinate presentations, virtual information sessions, outreach messages, and follow-up
- Connect student interest with Camp Coug, mentoring, alumni advisory, fundraising, marketing, and community activities
- Maintain organized contact records, commitments, calendars, and next steps
- Gather student feedback and identify new partnership opportunities
- Represent Cougs 4 Kids professionally using approved messaging and safeguarding practices
Qualifications:
- Experience in student leadership, campus engagement, volunteer coordination, education, outreach, or partnerships
- Strong communication, organization, relationship-building, and follow-through
- Familiarity with Washington State University communities is especially helpful
- Comfort coordinating remotely across schedules and locations
- Commitment to respectful, inclusive opportunities for underserved youth
This is a remote, recurring volunteer leadership role. Volunteers may participate from anywhere; optional in-person program moments may be available but are not required. Typical commitment is up to 10 hours per month.
