Help iLevelUP maintain accurate, accessible, well-organized learning and program content for underserved youth and young people.
We are seeking a volunteer Content Manager to coordinate the lifecycle of articles, lessons, resources, interface copy, support materials, and campaign content across web and mobile channels.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain content inventories, owners, statuses, calendars, review dates, and publishing workflows
- Coordinate briefs, assignments, editing, approvals, localization, and updates
- Organize taxonomy, metadata, tags, internal links, source citations, and reusable content
- Review content for accuracy, accessibility, reading level, inclusive language, and brand consistency
- Identify outdated, duplicate, missing, or unsupported content
- Partner with subject experts, writers, designers, developers, SEO, accessibility, and program teams
- Maintain version control, source records, and content-governance documentation
- Track content performance and coordinate evidence-based improvements
Qualifications:
- Experience in content operations, editorial management, CMS administration, digital publishing, knowledge management, or communications
- Strong organization, editing, workflow design, and cross-functional coordination
- Familiarity with accessibility, SEO, metadata, content models, and lifecycle governance
- Ability to manage multiple contributors and deadlines remotely
- Education technology or youth-program experience is helpful
This is a remote, recurring volunteer role open worldwide. Expect approximately 5–8 hours per month.
