- Location: Portland, OR 97225
- Start Date: 09/28/2026
- Duration: 13 weeks
- Shift: Day shift, 5x8 hours (07:00 - 15:00)
- Hours: 40 hours per week
- Schedule Notes: Block schedule preferred; weekends required on a rotating basis, approximately 4 weekend days per month
- Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,840 - $1,980
- Charting System: Epic
- Patient Population: Adults and geriatrics
- Minimum 1 year of occupational therapy experience required
- Recent inpatient acute care hospital experience required
- Active Oregon OT license required
- NBCOT certification required
- BLS certification required
- Experience with Epic charting required
- Strong background in acute care assessment, discharge planning, and patient/family education
- Experience floating between units may be required
- Evaluate and treat adult and geriatric patients in an acute care setting
- Complete assessments, re-assessments, and plan of care development
- Support discharge planning and home exercise program education
- Provide safe mobility, lifting, and transfer instruction as needed
- Collaborate with Physical Therapy, Respiratory Services, Radiology, Pharmacy, Social Services, and other care teams
- Deliver patient and family education focused on safety, function, and recovery goals
- Document care accurately and efficiently in Epic
- Help promote safe, effective, patient-centered outcomes throughout the hospital stay
