Registration RepresentativeSouth Florida Ambulatory Surgery Center is hiring an Onside Registration Representative, Full TimeMonday-Friday 5:45 am to 2:15pmSouth Florida Ambulatory Surgery Center needed for busy, multispecialty ASC in Miami, FL. United Surgical Partners International is a company that specializes in the development and operation of Ambulatory Surgical Facilities in the U.S. and the UK. We provide first-class surgical services for local communities and recognize our employees as our number one assets.The Registration Representative interfaces with patients and families, physicians and staff; Admit patients and process their paperwork; Update patient demographics/information in the system; Answer incoming phone calls. Greet patients, check in patients, Filing, answering phones, provides back up support for business officeSummary: Schedules procedures, registers patients, calculates charges, verifies insurance, and collects deposits as necessary.

Prepares appropriate documents and assist business office duties as needed.Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following other duties may be assigned. Answers telephone and either responds to inquiry, directs caller to appropriate personnel. Schedules patients using Advantx with a high rate of accuracy. Provides exemplary customer service; treats patients and coworkers with courtesy and discretion. Greets and directs patients, sales people and visitors.

Registers patients by verifying that patient's record is up to date and accurate. Makes appropriate changes in computer system and on patient's chart. Complies with federal and local laws in ensuring patient privacy. Collects payment from patients, applies payments and adjustments to patient accounts in the computer system.
