REGISTRATION REPRESENTATIVE

Registration RepresentativeChrist Community Health Services is seeking a welcoming, dependable Registration Representative to serve as a first point of contact for patients and support access to care for diverse and underserved populations.This role manages patient check-in and check-out, registration, appointment scheduling, insurance verification, payment collection, and demographic and financial information, including sliding fee discount eligibility. The Registration Representative maintains accurate information in the electronic health record and supports efficient clinic flow while protecting patient privacy.CCHS team members are expected to demonstrate our core values every day. The role may involve exposure to infectious or contagious illnesses.The position requires sitting for approximately 70% of the workday, standing for approximately 15%, and walking for approximately 15%. The employee may occasionally lift, push, or pull boxes or other items weighing up to 15 pounds.The role requires frequent use of computers, telephones, office equipment, payment-processing equipment, and cash-management systems. Local work-related travel may account for approximately 15% of the position, depending on clinic assignment and operational needs.
