Role Overview

The Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care using evidence-based practices, technology, and team collaboration.

Key Responsibilities

• Assess: Evaluate patients' physical, social, and psychological status, incorporating information from interdisciplinary team members.
• Plan: Develop individualized care plans with patient, family, and team involvement, including education and follow-up support.
• Implement: Coordinate and delegate care to the interdisciplinary team, managing priorities, resources, and supplies effectively.
• Evaluate: Monitor patient responses, review outcomes, and adjust care plans accordingly.
• Professionalism: Uphold legal and ethical standards, ensure accurate documentation, and promote nursing development.

Qualifications & Skills

• Current RN license in the practice state; valid compact license transferable within 60 days.
• Less than 12 months experience requires a BSN within four years of hire.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Skills include patient care delivery, teamwork, communication, critical thinking, and documentation.

Physical & Other Requirements

• Ability to see, read, and operate monitors and equipment.
• Manual dexterity for handling equipment and supplies.
• Physical ability to lift, transfer, and assist patients and navigate busy environments.
• Ability to drive if applicable.
