What You'll Do
- Assess, plan, intervene, and evaluate patient care at the bedside.
- Document patient care and outcomes electronically.
- Delegate tasks to non-licensed personnel.
- Serve as a preceptor or mentor for new staff, externs, or students.
- Participate in unit quality initiatives.
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team in patient care planning.
- Pursue professional development and growth.
Requirements
Education
- Graduation from an accredited nursing program
Experience
- 1 year of experience in a relevant clinical area
Licenses & Certifications
- Current Maryland State nursing license
- Active American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
- ACLS, PALS, NRP as required by specialty area
