Emergency Room
Position Type: Full Time (36 hours)
What We‘re Looking For: Education: High School Diploma or GED, required. 4 Year / Bachelors Degree, preferred.
Graduate of an accredited school of nursing required. If your RN nursing license has been inactive, retired or lapsed for five years or more and you have not been licensed in another state during the last five years, successful completion of a Board approved refresher course is required prior to reactivating or reinstating your license. Current RN licensure in appropriate state, required.
IV therapy training and/or competency within one year
Advanced certification in specialty and/or participation in professional nursing organizations encouraged
Provides direct and/or indirect nursing care under the direction of the Department Director and/or Charge Nurse
~ Delivers safe, effective, and professional nursing care to assigned patients
~ Assesses, plans, implements, and evaluates the healthcare needs of patients
~ Works collaboratively with the healthcare team to ensure quality patient outcomes
~ Maintains a customer-focused approach and supports hospital and unit goals
~ Delivers nursing care that aligns with established practice standards and clinical guidelines
~ Must be willing and able to float to other comparable nursing units and locations as needed
