Job Description
Registered Nurse - Cath Lab
Schedule
4 - 10-hour days per week (7:00 am - 5:30 pm) with an average of 8-10 call shifts per month, including 1-2 weekends per month depending on the schedule.
Assignment Details
1st time travelers accepted. No local candidates within a 75-mile radius. RTO restrictions allow requests close to 1 week. Pending license not accepted.
Requirements

• 2 years of experience in the cath lab (IR only experience is not accepted)
• ACLS, BLS certifications required
• Mandatory competency in phlebotomy and IV placements
• Experience in both Cath Lab and Interventional Radiology Lab
• EPIC experience required
• Skills: Interventional Cardiac Cath lab, Special Procedures, Cardiac Stent Placement, IABP Placement/Removal, Impella insertion, and others listed in the job description.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care in the Cath Lab and IR Lab for adult patients.
• Assist with diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures.
• Monitor and manage patients undergoing procedural sedation.
• Maintain a safe environment and follow infection prevention protocols.
• Interpret and manage dysrhythmias as needed.
• Demonstrate proficiency in required technical skills and procedures.
