Job Description
The Registered Nurse (RN) at DMC is part of the Patient Care Services Team, responsible for ensuring quality nursing care. The RN manages patient care activities, collaborates with healthcare team members, and provides leadership, teaching, and supervision.
Responsibilities include:
- Establishing and maintaining collaborative relationships with physicians and healthcare providers.
- Delegating, assessing, providing, and evaluating patient care.
- Delegating patient care activities to team members.
- Monitoring patient progress and preparing patients for discharge.
- Reporting to senior management and participating in shared decision-making.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:
- Graduation from a school of nursing.
- BSN preferred.
- Licensed to practice as an RN in Michigan.
- American Heart Association BLS certification.
