Position Overview:
The Registered Nurse (RN) provides patient-centered care utilizing the nursing process, ensuring safety, effectiveness, and professional accountability for assigned patients.
Key Responsibilities
- Evaluate the effectiveness of care provided by direct caregivers and coordinate interdisciplinary patient care.
- Maintain patient rights and confidentiality, performing duties aligned with organizational mission, values, and standards.
- Perform assessments and reassessments for patients in a progressive care setting with diverse medical needs, including cardiac, neurological, respiratory, and other systems.
- Ensure completion of required certifications such as ACLS, NIHSS, and ASLS within specified timeframes.
Qualifications & Skills
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program (associate's, diploma, or BSN).
- Current RN license in the respective state or compact licensure.
- Experience in a healthcare setting, with relevant certifications including BLS; additional certifications like ACLS, PALS, and others may be required.
- Physical ability to lift, push, pull 50 lbs, and perform prolonged standing, walking, and various physical movements.
