Job Summary
As an OR Registered Nurse, you will be part of an interdisciplinary team environment and contribute to patient care. We are seeking dedicated professionals to join our Surgical Services team.
Responsibilities
- Bring specialized OR nurse skills to serve specific age groups: adult, adolescent, geriatric, pediatric.
- Prepare for each procedure by ensuring adequate stock and appropriate equipment.
- Assist with post‑procedure workload, including cleaning the room, putting away supplies, and setting up for the next procedure.
- Teach, supervise, and serve as a resource person and delegate according to competency level of staff.
- May rotate to areas other than OR, performing only duties you are competent in.
Qualifications
- Current licensure in Colorado as a Registered Nurse or active multi‑state RN license.
- Basic Life Support certification from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
- Graduate from an accredited nursing school; BSN preferred.
- Minimum one‑year experience in perioperative/OR setting.
- CNOR certification preferred.
