Key Responsibilities
- Prepares the operating environment, assesses patients, reviews medical records, and ensures safety protocols before, during, and after surgery.
- Monitors patient condition, maintains sterile fields, communicates effectively, and documents interventions during procedures.
- Performs surgical instrument handling, counts supplies, and delivers nursing care to high-acuity patients.
Qualifications & Skills
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program, current RN licensure, BLS certification, with preferred CNOR and BSN.
- Minimum of 6 months OR nursing experience or completion of a fellowship.
- Critical thinking, decisiveness, ability to work independently, and thrive in fast-paced environments are essential.
