Key Responsibilities
- Adhere to hospital standards to promote a cooperative work environment through effective communication, teamwork, and relationship-building.
- Take responsibility for nursing aspects of patient and family education.
- Communicate clearly with team members, patients, and families, ensuring understanding of information.
- Create and maintain a safe, therapeutic environment for patients, staff, and visitors.
- Ensure accurate and timely documentation of patient information.
- Administer medications and IV therapies safely and accurately.
- Take personal accountability for performance, professional growth, and development.
- Utilize the nursing process to ensure quality care during the patient episode.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications & Skills
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Valid nursing license in Texas or eligibility to obtain one.
- Minimum of 12 months of RN experience.
