Role Overview

The staff nurse provides comprehensive nursing care to patients across all age groups, utilizing nursing processes to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care. They operate within organizational policies and demonstrate professional growth and accountability. The nurse is responsible for maintaining practice standards and coordinating patient care activities of assigned staff to ensure quality care.

Qualifications & Skills

• Graduate of a nursing program; new graduates eligible
• Current Georgia Registered Nurse license or NLC/eNLC Multistate License
• BLS certification required
• Preferred: One year hospital experience, bachelor’s degree, advanced specialty certification
