What You'll Do

• Collect pertinent data and information relative to the healthcare consumer's health or situation.
• Analyze assessment data to determine actual and potential diagnoses or issues.
• Identify expected outcomes for a plan individualized to the healthcare consumer or situation.
• Develop and modify a plan of care that prescribes strategies and alternatives to attain expected outcomes.
• Implement the identified plan.
• Coordinate care delivery and transitions in care.
• Employ strategies to promote health and a safe environment.
• Evaluate progress toward attainment of outcomes.
• Engage in professional role activities, including leadership appropriate to education and position.
• Communicate effectively in all areas of practice.

Requirements

• Education: Graduation from an accredited school of nursing; BSN preferred.
• Experience: 5 or more years of experience in NNICU.
• Licenses & Certifications: Licensed and currently registered nurse in the State of Connecticut; BLS and NRP required; Clinical specialty certification highly encouraged.
