What You'll Do
- Collect pertinent data and information relative to the healthcare consumer's health or situation.
- Analyze assessment data to determine actual and potential diagnoses or issues.
- Identify expected outcomes for a plan individualized to the healthcare consumer or situation.
- Develop and modify a plan of care that prescribes strategies and alternatives to attain expected outcomes.
- Implement the identified plan.
- Coordinate care delivery and transitions in care.
- Employ strategies to promote health and a safe environment.
- Evaluate progress toward attainment of outcomes.
- Engage in professional role activities, including leadership appropriate to education and position.
- Communicate effectively in all areas of practice.
Requirements
- Education: Graduation from an accredited school of nursing; BSN preferred.
- Experience: 5 or more years of experience in NNICU.
- Licenses & Certifications: Licensed and currently registered nurse in the State of Connecticut; BLS and NRP required; Clinical specialty certification highly encouraged.
