Right Price.Business Title: Workplace AdministratorWorking hours 7-4pmLocation: Portland, OR (Onsite) Duration: 12+ Months (contract to hire) Payrate: $30-$35/hr on W2Interview Process: Likely, an initial check-in/explanation of position from me. If we are both on the same page, a second round will be scheduled. Then 3-4 interviews back-to-back (if possible), maybe 15mins each.

Likely with my manager, my team lead, a local admin and myself once more.Job DescriptionThis is a highly visible, hands-on role at the center of the workplace, helping keep the office running and looking for ways to make it better. You'll support a broad mix of workplace needs—from employee and visitor experience to meetings, events, workplace readiness, and day-to-day problem solving. We're looking for someone who is energetic, resourceful, and proactive: a person who stays engaged, notices what needs attention before being asked, takes ownership of issues through resolution, and brings forward ideas that make the office more engaging, efficient, and simply a great place to be.Front Desk & Workplace Operations• Be a visible, approachable presence at the front of the office and a go-to resource for employees, visitors, and vendors.• Coordinate visitor access, badges, and security procedures in partnership with onsite and remote security teams.• Own day-to-day workplace requests, tickets, and follow-up, helping ensure issues are resolved quickly and the office stays ready, organized, and running smoothly.• Maintain consistent visitor and access procedures, including accurate visitor logs and badge distribution.• Bring energy and ideas to the workplace—spot opportunities, suggest improvements, and help turn ideas into action that make the office more connected, engaging, and enjoyable.Minimum QualificationsExperience supporting purchasing, expense tracking, invoices, or similar administrative processes.Strong verbal and written communication skills.Computer proficiency and a working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and respond professionally to changing onsite needs.Ability to perform the hands-on duties of the role, with or without reasonable accommodation, including setting up and reconfiguring workplace spaces, moving furniture and supplies, and addressing minor practical workplace needs.Employee Experience & Engagement• Plan and execute site activities, events, and engagement programs that create energy and bring people together.• Manage weekly site meals for 100+ attendees, including ordering, logistics, and budget tracking• Create and distribute site communications (announcements, event promotions, updates)• Build community across the office by driving participation, creating moments of connection, and finding new ways to make the workplace feel active and engaging.Meetings & Event Support• Provide concierge-level support for meetings and events, including executive and high-visibility sessions• Set up and reset rooms and furniture, coordinate layout changes, and ensure readiness of spaces• Partner with Workplace and AV teams to support successful event executionAdministration & Reporting• Support purchasing activities, including P-Card transactions, invoice tracking, and expense reconciliation• Track and report on site metrics (headcount, events, tickets, and usage)• Maintain and update internal tools and platforms (SharePoint, internal pages, etc.)• Use Microsoft Office and workplace systems to manage communication and coordinationSafety & Emergency Support• Act as a point of contact during onsite incidents or emergencies• Partner with Workplace and Security teams to support safety protocols and response coordinationWho Are You?• You are passionate about creating unique engagement activities and fostering a sense of community and belonging.• Customer service oriented – cheerful, energetic, courteous, and professional.• You're a roll-up-your-sleeves kind of person—comfortable tackling practical workplace needs, setting up furniture, troubleshooting minor issues, and figuring out how to get things done.• Organized and able to communicate effectively.• You are proactive and bring a growth mindset and continuous improvement approachWhy Work With Us?We believe in more than just jobs—we build careers.
