Real Estate Transactions Associate AttorneyDirect Counsel is seeking a Real Estate Transactions Associate Attorney to join a leading national law firm in its New York or Miami office. This is an excellent opportunity for an associate attorney with strong commercial real estate experience to join a high-performing team that handles sophisticated, large-scale transactions across the country.About the RoleThe firm's Real Estate practice represents developers, investors, financial institutions, and major national and international companies. The Associate Attorney will work on complex transactions involving acquisitions, dispositions, development, leasing, joint ventures, and financings, with the opportunity to manage matters from initial structuring through closing.

This group offers a collegial, collaborative environment with strong mentorship and clear opportunities for professional development and advancement.What You'll DoManage complex real estate transactions from inception through closingDraft and negotiate key deal documents, including: Purchase and sale agreementsCommercial leasesJoint venture agreementsDevelopment agreementsFinancing documents and related instrumentsOversee and coordinate due diligence across title, survey, zoning, environmental, and corporate issuesWork closely with partners, clients, and multidisciplinary deal teamsProvide strategic guidance and support on high-value commercial real estate mattersWhat We're Looking ForA highly capable Associate Attorney with 3–5 years of experience in complex commercial real estate transactionsStrong drafting, negotiation, and analytical skillsExperience handling acquisitions, dispositions, leasing, joint ventures, development projects, and/or financingsExcellent verbal and written communication abilitiesStrong academic credentialsPrior experience at a large regional, national, or international law firm preferredQualifications3–5 years of transactional real estate experienceJD from an accredited law schoolAdmission to the New York Bar (or eligibility to sit for/admit)Compensation & BenefitsThis full-time Associate Attorney position may be filled in New York. Pursuant to pay transparency requirements, the compensation range for this role is $260,000 – $365,000, depending on qualifications, experience, and other job-related factors.
