A leading commercial practice group is seeking a junior-level associate to join its Real Estate Practice in Seattle. The ideal candidate will work on complex and sophisticated real estate transactions, managing workstreams both independently and as part of collaborative deal teams.
Key Responsibilities
Financings: Assist with lender- and borrower-side mortgage and mezzanine financings.
Acquisitions & Dispositions: Support commercial real estate acquisition and disposition transactions, including due diligence and closing management.
Leasing & JVs: Draft and negotiate commercial real estate leases and support joint venture (JV) transactions.
Client Interaction: Work directly with clients and collaborate with team members to advance transaction goals.
Candidate Qualifications
Experience: Minimum of 1+ years of experience working on commercial real estate transactions in a law firm setting.
Licensure: Currently licensed to practice law in Washington state, or currently eligible to become licensed in WA.
Skills: Strong analytical, verbal, and written communication skills; exceptional business acumen; ability to manage components of transactions independently.
Credentials: Excellent academic credentials and professional references.
Salary Range: $225,000 – $260,000 (Base salary, commensurate with experience)
