You will develop highly optimized, responsive components.
You will be working in an agile environment with some pair programming.Position Summary/Job Description: Responsibilities/Deliverables that the resource will be responsible for:Developing React Native components for use in the Best Buy appInteract directly with peer developers, Product Management, Design, QA and remote server-side engineering groups as part of a cohesive teamPartner with product owners and UX on what’s feasible technically and participate in user requirements translation to technical specifications.Top five skills and number of years of experience required to perform this job:Must Have Skills:5+ years of experience with mobile app developmentReact Native app development experienceMinimum of 6 years related software development experience with Bachelor’s degree; additional 2 years of experience without BS/BAExperience with modern JavaScript Tooling (Node, Yarn / NPM, Babel, Webpack, etc.)Strong unit-testing and integration-testing skillsAble to participate in the planning process: take high level design discussions and create user stories, then further break those stories into tasks.Preferred/Nice to Have Skills the manager is looking for:Good social and communication skillsTeam oriented focus. Ability to understand another’s viewpoint and have a constructive code review discussion.Takes initiative, self-starter.
