Unit: Ultrasound
Number of Beds: 422
Number of Staff: 7
Type of Staff:

• Day Shift: 3 General Sonographers
• Night Shift: 1 Sonographer

Equipment and Software

• Equipment: GE and Phillips
• EMR System: Meditech

Minimum Qualifications

• Minimum of 6 months current experience as a Sonographer
• Current BLS certification
• ARDMS and RVT certifications
• Active Colorado licensure

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with neonatal head ultrasound procedures
• Additional Sonographer experience

Typical Procedures Performed

• Abdomen and Pelvic Ultrasounds
• Lower Extremity Duplex (Venous and Arterial)

Best Personality Fit

• Ability to work independently and autonomously
• Confident communication skills with RN and MD staff
• Good practice in handoffs to oncoming AM staff

Unit Guidelines and Policies
Call Schedule: Saturdays only, 6 PM - 6 AM, on a Q6 weeks rotation.
