MRI Technologist
Schedule: Sunday-Thursday, 10pm-6:30am (holidays, on call, callback per unit needs)
Assignment Details:
- Contract Length: 18 weeks
Requirements:
- Two (2) years of experience
- BLS certification (American Heart Association ONLY)
- NY Rad Tech license (must be willing to obtain this after starting)
- Injection certification
- Certification through the ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) preferred
- GE scanner experience required
- Level 1 Trauma Center experience
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Maintain a clean and safe scanning environment
- Coordinate with physicians for diagnostic imaging
- Prepare patients for scans and explain procedures to ensure comfort
- Insert IVs when necessary for tests
- Document all procedures while maintaining confidentiality of patient information
- Provide patient care tasks as needed
