IR Tech – Interventional Radiology
Schedule - Shift: 4x10; typical hours 07:00–17:30 - Call: Required — 2 full weekends every 6 weeks plus 9 weeknights
Requirements - Required certifications: BLS, ARRT (R), state license - ACLS certification required - Minimum of 1 year of relevant experience - Experience in interventional procedures support (scrub and circulator roles), vascular access support, equipment setup/maintenance, and sterile technique
Roles & Responsibilities - Assist with various interventional radiology procedures, including Y-90 chemo delivery, cryoablations, embolization, and angiography - Provide support in equipment setup and maintenance, ensuring a sterile environment - Collaborate with medical staff to ensure quality patient care and safety during procedures - Monitor patients during the recovery phase and respond to any life-threatening arrhythmias - Ensure proper documentation and charting in the electronic health record system
Compliance / Notes - Pre-approved time off: 1 (per contract) - Candidates must complete required modules before starting and during orientation (non-billable time)
