Job Description
Title: Cardiovascular Interventional Radiology Technologist
Schedule:
- Shift: Four 9-hour shifts per week,
Assignment Details:
- Contract Length: 13 weeks
- Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week
Requirements:
- Minimum 1 year experience in an invasive cardiovascular or procedural setting (Cath Lab, IR, EP Lab)
- AHA Basic Life Support (BLS)
- Radiology Technologist License (LRT) via KSBHA
- ARRT (Radiography) required; R.T. (VI - Vascular Interventional Radiography) preferred
- AHA Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) preferred
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Perform imaging procedures in cardiovascular interventional radiology and catheterization lab settings
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure high-quality patient care
- Maintain radiation safety protocols and ensure proper use of imaging equipment
- Assist in procedural preparations and post-procedure care of patients
Compliance / Notes:
- On-call requirements: 1 night per week + every 4th weekend
- Weekend/holiday rotation includes one holiday (likely Labor Day)
- All required licensure and certifications must be presented at the time of submission. No pending certifications or licenses are allowed.
