Radiology Tech
Our client, a leading health system in Lakewood, CO, is seeking a Radiology Tech to provide quality patient care within the medical imaging department. You will perform high-quality images and exams with sensitivity to patient needs while upholding safe radiation practices.
Responsibilities
- Performs diagnostic radiology procedures, ensuring safety for all individuals and practicing ALARA radiation safety.
- Produces quality images accurately, completely, and in a timely manner.
- Prepares patients, provides procedure information, responds to needs, and assists with patient positioning.
- Observes patient and equipment during procedures, reporting unusual occurrences and documenting conditions.
- Facilitates smooth patient flow, scheduling, and optimal use of equipment and resources.
- Correctly inputs charges, required data, and completes necessary hospital/medical imaging paperwork for each exam.
Requirements
- Required
- High School Diploma/G.E.D.
- Knowledgeable in all aspects of Diagnostic Imaging to include Surgery and Trauma.
- One (1) year post certification experience required to evaluate and/or instruct student radiographers.
- Registered Technologist, Radiology R.T. (R) (ARRT)
- Current Basic Life Support from American Heart Association
- Kansas LRT (applicable entities)
- Preferred
- Associate's Degree
- Bachelor's Degree
- Previous Radiologic Technologist experience.
- Bone Density certification within six (6) months of hire, if applicable to entity

$27.97 - $47.11/hour
