Interventional Radiology Tech

This is a dual cath/IR role. Shift is 4x10s with variable days of the week, including weekends. Variable start times between with occasional 1100. Schedules are posted in advance on the 15th of every month. This position includes 3-5 call shifts per month. Some weeks may require coverage for 8 or 10-hour shifts. Daily caseload per tech includes 4 Angio suites and 2 ORs. Special requirements include neuro interventions like stroke, coils, AVMs, and all diagnostic cerebrals. Cardiac interventions such as STEMI and PCI are also required. Vascular procedures include run-offs, TEVAR, and EVAR. Body procedures consist of CVC, drains, and embolizations. Experience with Epic charting system is required. Must have a strong background in accessing and managing ports. Skills in angioplasty, stent placement, and carotid angiography are essential. Candidates must be comfortable with catheter and drain exchange. Central venous access and placement skills are necessary. Chest tube placement and paracentesis experience are preferred. Interventional radiology experience is mandatory. Willingness to float within the department as needed is required.
