Upon accepting the assignment, the unit manager may assign the candidate to an "Emergency Team." There will be an expectation to stay at the facility until after the event passes or be part of the relief team. Specific details pertaining to pay will be relayed on each emergency event, as impacts vary. The candidate should be prepared to work on holidays if the workday falls on one.
Resources who worked as permanent staff or in-house contractors must be separated for one full year before they can return as travelers. Modules are billable and completed during orientation.
